Expansion 2024

Imagine What God Can Do

Expansion 2024

A new parish hall and the existing parish hall refurbished

It began with a dream a long time ago, to bring a new and larger space to St. Laurence. A space where we can all gather together. A space where our family can grow, our ministries can grow, so more and more people can come to know our Lord Jesus Christ at St. Laurence.

  • Rooted

We are a Parish that is deeply rooted in God’s holy word and in our Anglican tradition. Founded 72 years ago, we are a Parish that is also deeply rooted in our community, committed to serving God’s people. We know who we are and we know whose we are. God has blessed us with growth, bringing many new families to St. Laurence. More space is now needed so that we can continue to serve God, to do His will and to minister to His people.

  • Rising

The time is now! God has prepared us and we are rising to His call. Building plans are being finalized and the Capital Campaign is preparing to launch in Spring of 2024. A new Parish Hall and a remodeled old Parish Hall will bring spaces for the whole parish to gather as well as small groups to meet. The youth will have dedicated and enhanced spaces just for them and there will be classroom spaces for Parent’s Day Out and kids’ Sunday School that will bring greater security and teaching capabilities, far exceeding what we have today.

  • Together

With God’s blessing, together we will raise the funds and together we will build it. We will work together so that we can be together. Imagine the possibilities that will bring. Ministries can thrive and expand, our Parish family can connect in new ways to serve each other and the broader community, and our youth can learn, develop, serve, bond and have fun together as they grow closer to God. God will provide the space and God will bring the growth.

Capital Campaign Timeline

  • Join us for a Prayer Walk for the Expansion next Sun, April 21 at 9:50am. We’ll encircle the footprint of where the new Parish Hall will be built and Fr. Jordan will lead the entire Parish in prayer and song, giving thanks to God for the blessing of this land and the new building to come. Those at the first service, will process together to the site of the new building (the north side of the current Parish Hall). Second service folks are asked to come early and be in place by 9:45am.

“Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” —Colossians 2:6-7
